A (shaving) brush with the law beckons for a man sought by detectives in connection with the theft of £600 worth of shaving equipment.

Sussex Police are keen to speak to the man shown here as part of an investigation into shoplifting at Boots the Chemist in North Street, Chichester.

They believe he may have information concerning two incidents in which goods totalling more than £580 were stolen from the shop.

The first occasion was on Thursday September 29 when CCTV showed the man entering the store at around 5.15pm.

A Philips beard trimmer, four packs of Gillette Fusion razor blades and three packs of Gillette Match 3 razors were stolen.

On Friday October 10 at around 2.50pm the same man visited the store, when a Braun shaver series 9 9295 went missing.

Anyone who recalls seeing the man or who recognises him is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1103 of 11/11 (September sighting) or serial 1294 of 11/11 (October sighting).
