Appeal for information following burglary
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary.
The owner of a house in The Croft, Hastings, disturbed two thieves while they were searching through belongings in the bedroom.
The suspects then fled the scene via the rear of the house and made off in the direction of the old town.
They stole various items of jewellery of unknown value.
The two men are both described white, slim, aged between 18 and 22, with short dark hair and wearing all dark clothing.
One was about 5ft 8in and the other was 5ft 10in.
Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened around 3pm on Tuesday, is asked to call 101, quoting serial 823 of 06/12.
