A WANTED man was caught only a few hundred metres from a police station.
Robert Cole, who was wanted for breaching the terms of his release licence, was spotted by an officer in High Street, Kemp Town, just round the corner from Sussex Police's John Street base.
The 32-year-old was part of the way through an eight-week sentence imposed at Brighton Magistrates Court on October 26 for possession of an offensive weapon.
Sussex Police said he was wanted for recall to prison after breaching the terms of his release licence.
Cole was arrested on Monday afternoon (December 19).
