POLICE were called to quieten down football supporters letting off fireworks on Brighton beach despite their team being dumped out of the cup.
Sussex Police received numerous complaints about fireworks being let off on Brighton beach near to the i360 at 4am on Sunday morning.
Adur and Worthing police tweeted they assisted their Brighton counterparts with reports of fireworks let off by "inconsiderate MK Dons fans".
The Dons were beaten 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup around 12 hours earlier at the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton.
