An accident which has caused a fuel spillage has resulted in a road being closed.
Traffic is backing up along the A29 at Slindon following a a road traffic accident.
Sussex Police are on the scene following the smash which took place at around 7.30 this morning and have shut off the carriageway because diesel has spilled over the road.
The crash took place between A284 London Road / B2139 (Whiteways Lodge Roundabout) and Baycombe Lane.
The congestion is already back to the A27 and to Park Lane.
