A man has died in a car crash after his vehicle hit a tree.
The 68-year-old man, who was travelling in a silver car, left the road and collided with a tree in Loxwood, near Horsham, around 3.20pm on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the B2133 near the junction with Newpound Lane.
The man from Nutbourne, near Chichester, died at the scene.
The road was closed for around five hours.
Sergeant Alan Spicer said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw what happened.
"If you can help, then please get in touch."
