WORKERS at Gatwick who help passengers with reduced mobility are to vote on whether to strike in a dispute over pay.
Members of Unite employed by the OCS Group have rejected three separate offers during a long-running dispute.
Unite said most of the 200 workers are paid £7.65 an hour. The ballot closes on March 9 and Unite warned of “significant strike action” if there is a yes vote.
Regional officer Jamie Major said: “It is unacceptable that OCS think it can get away with paying poverty pay to dedicated workers.”
