A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after crashing with a 4x4.
Emergency services were called at 12.16 this afternoon after being alerted to a crash between a green Land Rover Defender towing a horsebox and a black Suzuki motorbike in Station Road, near Arlington Reservoir, Berwick.
A 23-year-old male, from Seaford, has sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex Sussex County Hospital.
The driver of the Land Rover, a 68-year-old man from Berwick, was uninjured.
Both vehicles were travelling northbound.
Police ask witnesses or anyone who might have seen the motorbike prior to the crash to call 101 quoting Operation Chesterfield or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
