SCHOOLchildren have been testing out their new playground.
Youngsters from Bonners Primary, in Maresfield, swung, hung, slid and climbed all over the new equipment which has been built thanks to a donation from a supermarket.
The £12,000 for the playground came from Tesco’s Bags of Help funding scheme.
Matt Ayling, store manager of Tesco in Uckfield, was on hand to cut the ribbon at the park.
The children have watched over the last month as their playground has been transformed from a grass verge into a wooden adventure park.
They gave the equipment a big thumbs up.
Tesco is encouraging local groups, schools and community projects to apply for Bags of Help funding by visiting groundwork.org.uk.
