SCHOOLGIRLS raised thousands of pounds at a charity fashion show.
Brighton and Hove High School students raised £2,400 for The Martlets and Forward UK at their annual show earlier this month.
Students wore a range of items and outfits with a focus on eco and sustainable clothing. The charity auction proved to be very popular, raising £700.
Students worked for weeks to prepare for the event, helped by shops and individuals who provided clothes.
The money will go to The Martlets hospice and the charity Forward which works to end female genital mutilation, child marriage and other violence against women and girls in the UK and Africa.
The fundraising comes on top of the money the school raised through hosting a Snowdog.
