A WOMAN who inspired others as she used social media to highlight her battle with cancer has lost her fight for life.

Jessica-Jade Allen was diagnosed with cancer six years ago and was open about her struggle, giving regular updates on her brave battle.

She also set up a Go Fund Me internet page after creating a bucket list of things she wanted to do.

Her plans included going travelling and having weekend breaks with family and friends.

However a message on the page on Wednesday revealed the brave 21-year-old had died.

It said: “So sad to announce that our lovely Jess passed away today at 5:50pm surrounded by her amazing family. Fly high angel, love you always.”

Tributes to Jessica-Jayde, who lived in Brighton, have been pouring in from fellow bloggers, vloggers and supporters.

Former X Factor contestant Sam Callahan said: “Wow. Heaven gained a good one.

“Truthfully I never thought this day would actually come. You’ve taught me so much.”

YouTuber Saffron Barker said: “RIP Jess. I’m gonna love and miss u with all my heart.

“You were one truly kind hearted friend who I will never forget…”

Singer and YouTube star Jordi Whitworth said: “At 5:50pm the angels came down and relieved you of the pain you have been suffering for so long, love you so much. R.I.P My Hero.”

A message on the Go Fund Me page said: “We will miss you Jess.

“I know now that you are in a more peaceful place up there as the most beautiful angel. Always remember you will never be forgotten.”

Jessica-Jayde was just 15 when she learned she had a rare type of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma and had to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

In July 2012 she learnt her cancer was no longer active but in October 2013 another lump appeared and doctors had to operate to get at the tumour.

Jessica-Jayde then relapsed for a third time and was told the tumour had grown and the cancer had spread to her lungs.

There was nothing more medics could for her.

Despite her illness, Jessica-Jayde was determined to keep on living her life as much as possible and creating as many memories as she could.

Donations are continuing to be made to Jessica’s Go Fund Me page.
