Five vehicle crash closes part of A27
A FIVE vehicle crash left two people injured and closed part of the A27.
Emergency services were called to A27 westbound at Broadwater at 5.43am following reports of accident blocking two out of three lanes near Lyons Farm, Worthing.
Two people were rushed to hospital.
A spokesperson for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Two patients, a man with a facial injury, and a woman with a leg injury were treated before being taken to Worthing Hospital."
The A27 was closed westbound at its junction with Gainsborough Avenue.
The road was fully reopen as of 7.47am.
