A KAYAKER was taken to hospital after capsizing.
The man got into difficulty around 9.20pm last night, 0.5 miles off Sea Lane Cafe in Goring, Worthing.
The coastguard and volunteer crew from Littlehampton RNLI responded.
Residents reported seeing a coastguard helicopter land in Homefield Park in Newland Road, near Worthing Hospital.
The kayaker was then transferred into the care of the ambulance service from the lifeboat station.
