A CYCLIST was left with serious chest and shoulder injuries after being knocked off his bike by a blue Peugeot car.
The accident happened on the A272 at the junction with Brambling Lane, west of Midhurst on Saturday at 1.30pm.
The 79-year-old male cyclist from Stedham was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Witnesses should contact Sussex Police by calling 101, quoting Operation Burrows.
