THE newest branch of a home care business has switched to the 100 per cent electric Nissan LEAF.

The Hastings and Rother branch of the Radfield Home Care Service opened for business last month, serving its clients with a range of home care packages.

Director Samuel Holmes wanted an environmentally-friendly vehicle to conduct client assessments and knew the Nissan LEAF – with its zero emissions and 155-mile range – was the car for him.

He took delivery of his LEAF, which has been specially sign-written with the Radfield logo, from SLM Nissan in Hastings.

Mr Holmes said: “Radfield Home Care Service prides itself on having B-Corp status.

“B-Corp is to business what Fairtrade certification is to coffee growers and as such I wanted our branch to be in keeping with that status.

“I wanted an efficient and comfortable vehicle for me and my clients

Sales executive Jon Nash said: “We’re delighted Samuel came to visit us and chose the Nissan LEAF for his business.

“It is ideal for his line of work as he goes on his regular visits to clients.

“We wish him all the best as Radfield Home Care grows in the area.”
