A MAN, woman and child suffered serious injuries in a crash between a car and a van.
Police were called to the incident on the B2115 Slough Green Lane in Warninglid at 1.45pm on Tuesday.
The accident involved a black Ford Mondeo and a white Citroen Berlingo.
The driver of the Ford, a 27-year-old woman from Haywards Heath, and two passengers, aged four and seven were injured.
They were taken to St George’s Hospital in London.
A man, 50, from Burgess Hill, was the driver of the Citroen.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
Sussex Police are now investigating the crash and are appealing for information.
Anyone who attended the scene but left before speaking to police or who saw what happened is asked to get in contact.
