VIRGIN StartUp is staging its next monthly meeting in Brighton on September 21.

It is the not-for-profit Virgin Company for entrepreneurs who provide government-backed startup loans and one-to-one business advice to entrepreneurs launching or growing a business.

The meeting is titled: How to Crowdfund for your Startup.

Crowdfunding is fast becoming the go to platform for all types of startups as a way to leverage funding.

As well as becoming a more mainstream means for start-ups to advance the required capital they need to grow, it’s also a very powerful way to create a genuine community around your product or service.

Dominic Gomez,Virgin Mentor and Virgin StartUp event director Brighton, said: “I really feel that Brighton and the surrounding area has a rich and compelling compliment of innovative startups and entrepreneurs.

“These monthly events are a fantastic platform to show case inspiring business owners, sharing their amazing journeys and stories, as well as offering unique insights and takeaways.”

The evening is being held in Platf9rm at Tower Point, 44 North Road, Brighton from 6pm until 8.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 to include a complimentary drink and can be booked via Eventbrite.
