ARSENAL are keeping most of their stars under wraps as they prepare to face Albion.
A host of top Gunners have stayed at home rather than travel to Belarus for tonight’s Europa League fixture with BATE Borisov.
Although a definitive list was not available, Arsenal are understood to have travelled without Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Alex Iwobi, Sead Kolasinac, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal.
Those boarding the flight east included Shkrodan Mustafi and Theo Walcott.
Former Albion loanee Chuba Akpom is also in the squad.
Arsene Wenger has been critical of a schedule which sees his side host Albion at noon on Sunday.
The Gunners boss told reporters last night: “I said on Monday that I would play an experienced team with a young bench. That’s what I’ll do.
“We have a tight schedule. It’s an important game, only one or two young players will start.”
