Former Spurs stalwart Chris Hughton feels no extra incentive to get a result against Arsenal.

Hughton renews North London rivalries when he takes Albion to the Emirates on Sunday (noon).

He said: "I scored twice in a game against Arsenal and that was the only time I ever scored twice.

"But as a manager it's about winning, whoever that is against. Would I have any extra satisfaction because it's Arsenal?

"No, the satisfaction I would have is that Arsenal are a Champions League team – although not this season – and any scalp or good result against one of the big teams is always a big achievement."

Hughton believes rival boss Arsene Wenger is a good example for Albion, because of the way he always brings them through rough patches.

"I think there are comparisons in different ways," Hughton said. "They have levels of expectation based on what they have achieved. And I suppose a couple of defeats on the spin is a bad period for them, they have to work through it and they always do.

"Ours will be the other side, coming back from losing two or three on the spin, making sure we can turn it around.

"But there isn't any team similar to ourselves who wouldn't have gone through it. It's about clearing a result as quick as you can and focusng on the next one."
