Drivers faced disruption this morning following a crash on the A27.
The accident, which involved two cars, happened on the eastbound carriageway close to the A259 Hangleton Link Road at Hove.
Emergency services had to close one lane for about 30 minutes to deal with the incident and clear up an oil spill caused by the accident, which happened at about 7.15am.
There are no reports of any injuries but there were long tailbacks until the area was cleared.
