CONCERN has been raised for a 39-year-old woman who has been missing for a week.

Police are concerned for Eastbourne woman Elaine Stripp.

She was staying in the town but she recently left to attend a support centre near Maidstone, Kent.

Leaving there on October 10, she said she was going back to Eastbourne but has not been seen since.

Elaine has links to Hawkhurst in Kent and Croydon.

Elaine is described as white, 5ft 6in, slim, with short black hair and blue eyes. She was possibly wearing a black coat at the time she went missing.

Missing persons co-ordinator Shannon Marchesani said: "We are concerned about Elaine as she has not been seen for seven days now.

“We believe she may currently be in Croydon. If anyone has seen her or has any information about her, please get in touch with us."
