BRIGHTON and Hove Albion’s official charity is holding a cancer health and wellbeing event at the American Express Community Stadium.

It will take place on Tuesday November 21 between 10am and 4pm.

Albion in the Community free event is suitable for anyone living with, or after cancer.

It is a chance for people to find out more about the wide range of support and services available locally.

Lunch and refreshments are provided and as well as information stalls from organisations like Macmillan Cancer Support and Brighton and Hove City Council, there will also be a number of workshops and talks delivered by a range of cancer experts.

AITC will also be sharing information about its cancer-related health programmes, including Brighter Outlook – a free physical activity course that aims to help people remain active during and after treatment.

Jason Barrow, the Macmillan GP in Brighton and Hove, is encouraging people with an experience of cancer to attend.

Free transport is also being offered from within the city although this must be booked in advance.
