EUROVISION fans who feared they had missed out on a chance to see the UK decide its entrant to the contest 2018 have had a reprieve.

More tickets have been made available for the Brighton Dome show which will host a concert featuring the singers vying for a chance to represent the country in Lisbon, Portugal.

The show, which takes place on February 7, 2018, will be broadcast live on BBC Two in a programme called Eurovision: You Decide.

More tickets have been put on sale today from brightondome.org.

The competitors will take to the stage in front of a professional panel, whose judgement will be combined with a live public vote to determine the winner. The artist going to Lisbon will be announced the night after.

2015 Eurovision Song Contest winner Måns Zelmerlöw will co-host the night alongside English actress Mel Giedroyc.

Mans said: “I’m really, really looking forward to hosting Eurovision: You Decide together with Mel this year. I’m sure we’ll have a great show and I would love to see the UK achieve a great result in Eurovision 2018.

"I can’t wait to be part of the You Decide journey and make both You Decide as well as the Eurovision Finals, a part of every UK home.”

ABBA won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest at Brighton Dome with their performance of Waterloo.

The Eurovision final will be broadcast live on BBC One on May 12, 2018.
