TWO separate collisions have caused a lane closure on a main road.
Sussex Police received a call at around 9.20am, alerting them to two crashes on the A27 at Southwick Tunnel.
A car is reported to have gone into the back of another vehicle and the second crash involved two cars.
A police spokeswoman said the westbound lane on the road was closed for almost two hours.
The road is now cleared and the lane has reopened to traffic.
No injuries have been reported at the scene.
