A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of theft.
Sussex Police officers responding to a report of a theft arrested a man in Elm Grove, Brighton.
A vehicle was stopped shortly after 10pm on Thursday and two mobile phones were recovered.
Officers arrested a 36-year-old man from Hove, who remains in police custody at this stage.
Witnesses reported seeing around four police cars and one undercover vehicle arrive at the scene before the man was taken into custody.
