CHILDREN on the Friston Children’s Unit at Eastbourne DGH are set to benefit from new equipment in the play room thanks to a £300 donation from local Freemasons.

Simon Hall from Eastbourne Lodge 7057 Freemasons presented the unit’s staff with the money.

The donation will go towards new equipment to help refurbish the play room on the Friston Children’s Unit.

Matron Liz Vaughan said: “We would like to thank Eastbourne Lodge Freemasons for its generous donation.

“The playroom will soon be refurbished with new equipment for the children to play with.”
