SWEDISH design brand kikki.K has opened its first European airport store at Gatwick.
The retailer, founded in Australia by Swedish-born entrepreneur Kristina Karlsson, has opened the 25sqm Little Boutique store – featuring the brand’s unique kiosk-style store design – in the north terminal.
kikki.K Gatwick is the retailer’s sixth stand-alone UK store and follows the launch of its flagship Covent Garden outlet in December 2015.
The global brand, created by Karlsson at her home in 2001 after a 3am brainwave, has also opened boutiques in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Kristina Karlsson, founder, kikki.K said: “It’s so exciting to see more and more of the UK fall in love with kikki.K, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be sharing our products with guests in Gatwick Airport’s north terminal.
“Gatwick is an ideal location for a kikki.K Little Boutique. Travellers can enjoy our world-class guest experience, and shop our gorgeous range of travel accessories, stationery and gifts.”
