THE family of a mother found dead in a tent have paid tribute to the "caring young woman who loved life".
Sarah Clayton, 21, was discovered at the Buckle Holiday Park in Marine Parade, Seaford, on Sunday morning.
Friends have spoken of their grief and shock at the news of the mother's death, and her family have now issued a statement.
It said: "We are all devastated by the sudden loss of our loving daughter Sarah.
"She was an exceptionally caring young woman who loved life.
"Sarah was happy and bubbly with an infectious giggle, and would do anything to help others.
"Sarah will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and we would appreciate our privacy being respected at this time."
A murder investigation is still ongoing.
A 28-year-old Littlehampton man who was known to Miss Clayton was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was in custody for two days before being released yesterday afternoon.
A 50th birthday party took place at the campsite over the weekend, and officers are looking to speak to anyone who attended and may have information.
They also want to speak to dog walkers who were in the area in the early hours of Sunday.
Anyone with information should call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Cobblestone.
