TWO people were taken to hospital after two cars collided.
Police were called to Barnhorn Road, west of Little Common, Bexhill, where the vehicles crashed, with one overturning.
Two casualties were taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings. One of the patients, a woman, suffered head injuries, but they are not believed to be serious.
A spokesman from South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) was unable to confirm if there were more casualties.
He said: "We were called just after 3pm to reports of a collision at Barnhorn Road, Bexhill.
"Two ambulances and two cars were sent to the scene and at least two patients were taken to Conquest Hospital.
"One patient, a woman, had head injuries but was still conscious at the scene."
Police closed off Little Common roundabout and Pevensey services roundabout on the A259, causing severe traffic delays until 4.20pm.
