A HOUSEBUILDER is helping a hospice buy new beds for its patients.
Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has donated £500 to Worthing hospice St Barnabas House.
The hospice is replacing some of its old beds and mattresses in the in-patient Unit.
Wendy Bardsley, community fundraising manager for St Barnabus House, said: “Some of our beds are pretty old and, of course, our priority is making our patients as comfortable as possible.
“This donation makes a real difference to our fundraising drive.”
Roz Wells, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said the hospice provides such a worthwhile service to its patients and all of their families.
She said: “We are committed to supporting the communities in which we build and the hospice is not far from our Barley Grange development, so when we heard of its thoughtful aim, we were delighted to be able to help in some small way.”
