A MAN will appear in court tomorrow after being charged on suspicion of attempting to wound a police officer.
Armed officers were called to Isabel Crescent in Hove at 2.45pm yesterday (Thursday) amid reports that a man may have been harming himself inside.
The man is alleged to have attempted to wound one of the first police officers to have arrived with two knives.
Guy Spencer, 62, of Isabel Crescent, has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to a police officer and will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow to face the charge.
