A CHARITY supporting people living with HIV has received a generous donation of £500 from Sussex Police.
The money was given to Sussex Beacon, a Brighton-based charity in St James's Street.
The contribution comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from the sale of property confiscated by order of the courts and then sold.
Lisa Marshall, from Sussex Beacon, said: "The Sussex Beacon is really delighted to receive the £500 donation.
"On behalf of all our service users, volunteers and staff we would like to say a huge thank you to The Police Property Fund and we are very grateful for PC Breeds's nomination."
