A NEW project aimed at getting people out on bikes to enjoy the countryside launches today.
The Cycle Seahaven club is working with the South Downs National Park on the scheme.
The first Health Ride will take place from 1pm until 3pm.
It is a gentle one-hour circuit towards Telscombe Tye and back along the cliff tops.
Bikes will be available to use if you do not own one.
A Dr Bike Surgery will also be set up at the Cycle Hub, Big Park in Peacehaven, from 10am until 12.15pm tomorrow.
The public are welcome to take their bikes along for a check over.
There will also be a small flat circuit for anyone wanting to ride a bike.
A spokesman said: “The club has a ‘helmets must be worn’ policy.
“Please do come along, have a chat and maybe have a go on the ride.”
