A TODDLER was left traumatised after he was reportedly bitten by a dog.
Police say a cream coloured Staffordshire Terrier ran up to the three-year-old while he walked with his mother on the pavement in Kings Parade in Bognor at 3pm on Monday.
It bit the boy on his chest and he had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
A man with another dog of the same breed collected the dog, and walked away from the path with a woman.
Officers investigating the incident released an image of the woman who they wish to speak to after the alleged incident.
She is white, 5ft 4ins and stocky, believed to be in her late 50s. The man with her, is white, tall and skinny.
Police Sergeant Matthew Phelps said: “The boy has been left very traumatised by this incident and we are providing support to the family.
“We believe the woman in the picture is the owner of the dog in question and we would like to speak to her about the matter."
