A CRASH involving a lorry and a car is causing severe delays on the M23 Southbound at Junction 9 for Gatwick Airport.
One lane out of three has been closed with highways team on the scene to help the vehicles at the exit slip road.
The slip road is accessible.
The incident happened at about 11.24am.
South East Coast Ambulance Service, Highways England and Sussex Police have been contacted for a comment.
