COLEEN Nolan says she “couldn’t bear” the idea of doing a Nolans reunion without her sister, as she announces a new solo tour.

The 53-year-old singer and daytime television star has announced a 36 date tour for early 2019.

The tour comes ten years after the last Nolans reunion tour.

It was the final time all the sisters were together on stage before the tragic death of Bernie Nolan in 2013.

Coleen said plans had been in the pipeline for another Nolans tour before her sister’s death.

She added that it would have hurt too much to do a reunion without Bernie by their side.

“After the reunion tour we were going to tour again but sadly we lost Bernie,” she said.

“I can’t bear doing it without Bernie.

“She was the Nolans, it would make me too sad to do it without her.”

Coleen will be playing venues across the country, including one in Sussex as she comes to the Worthing Pavilion on Friday, February 22.

“It’s something I never thought I would do,” she said.

“I’m so excited about it, I’m really nervous about it too, because it’s a massive thing for me to do.”

She adds that the idea behind the tour is to prove that age should not be a barrier when it comes to performing.

“I’ve got to that age of why not now, that’s why it’s called the Never Too Late tour.

“I don’t think age should ever get in the way.

“I want to get that point across.”

The tour announcement comes as Coleen finds herself at the centre of controversy, following an argument with Kim Woodburn on ITV daytime show Loose Women.

More than 7,000 complaints were made to TV regulators Ofcom following the run-in, which saw Woodburn leave the set in tears.

A petition has since been making the rounds online calling for Coleen to be sacked from the show. It has gained more than 16,000 signatures.

It was the first time that they had faced each other on television since their feud began on last year’s Celebrity Big Brother.

Coleen’s Never Too Late tour begins in Manchester on January 11.
