In the past few years I have seen many dozens of trees erased from the western side of Preston Park and in Preston Road when the cycle tracks were built.
With all the ghastly concrete blocks in these twin towns we need plenty of trees and shrubs to soften and mask the ugliness of the buildings now rapidly being built.
