I think I have contracted herpes. What are the symptoms? Do they include waterworks problems, which I am getting at the moment?
And would there be any bad, long-term effects if I don't get treated?
Herpes causes painful blisters on the sex organs. Often, these make passing urine difficult or painful. The infection may keep causing blisters and sores on and off for years but it can just burn itself out. However, I do think it would be wise to get yourself properly diagnosed and treated.
I suggest you go to your nearest Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) clinic, which is at Crawley Hospital.
