POLICE are investigating after a thief broke into a secondary school.
The burglar went to St Paul's Catholic College in Jane Murray Way, Burgess Hill, last night (March 16).
It was reported the thief stole items from the school.
Crime scene officers were at the premises yesterday to gather any clues from the burglary.
Inspector Darren Taylor said: "St Paul's Catholic College, Burgess Hill was broken into last night and various items stolen by the thieves.
"We are investigating the incident and our SOCO team will be attending."
In an update, sources said no items were taken from the school.
The college said: "The school is working closely with Sussex Police to support the investigation."
The Inspector said anyone with information should report it to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote reference 0170 of 17/03.
