HEROIC staff chased knife-wielding attackers from at newsagents following a raid.

Dimple Amin, owner of the County Oak Post Office in Carden Avenue, Brighton, pushed back when two people stormed her shop on Thursday.

The pair, both believed to be young males, brandished knives as they demanded money from the till and access to the safe.

They left empty-handed after Dimple grabbed the knife of one attacker as it was shoved in her face.

"I was one hundred per cent scared," said Dimple.

"But I didn't want to show that I was scared. Both of them had knives in their hands. One came to me and one stood to the other side of the counter.

"The guy who was in front of my Post Office, I held his knife because it was straight under my face. Another was inside my counter."

In CCTV footage, two people, both dressed in dark clothing with full-face helmets, can be seen parking a red getaway moped outside the store, before entering and threatening staff with blades.
