Despite 20 years' service to music, and being old enough to know better, lead singer Ricky Warwick still managed to embody every single rock cliche ever dreamt up by long-haired, leather-jacketed, goatee-beard types.
His counterparts on the bass and lead guitar at least had the decency to look like they had cut their hair and got a job since 1995.
Still, none of this detracted from the four-to-the-floor, full-throttle rock, and maybe a little bit of roll, which thankfully can remind us all that somewhere out there someone with an electric guitar is doing something other than emo.
They may be looking a little tired around the edges but it still doesn't really get any more rock than this. Happy 20th The Almighty. And thank you.
