I'm 25 and was thinking of getting the jab which protects you against cancer of the cervix.
However, my Mum is a research scientist and she says some women have died immediately after being given it. Is this true?
In Central Europe recently, two females of unknown age have indeed died after being given the vaccine. So far, no one knows why. However, this jab has been administered to millions of other people, without serious side-effects. So it looks as if any risk must be small. But please note, in this country the injection is mainly going to be given to 12-year-old girls - and not to 25-year-olds like yourself.
