Last night I rang my new GP because my little girl had a temperature. To my amazement, he said he would write out a prescription for antibiotics, and leave it outside the surgery door for me. I was gobsmacked.
My previous doctor in London would never have done such a thing.
She would have come out and examined my child.
What do you think, doc?
The practice of writing out a prescription for antibiotics without seeing the patient is quite indefensible and could attract the attention of the General Medical Council. So I suggest you find yourself a new GP right away. Hope your little girl is better.
