Roy Taylor emails: "For the past three years I have been researching the history of RAF Truleigh Hill, a radar station on the South Downs Way above Shoreham which existed between 1940 and 1957.
"During wartime, airmen and WAAFs were accommodated in private housing in Shoreham. In the Fifties Cold War period a purpose-built camp to house the staff was built in Stoney Lane in Shoreham.
"So far, I have written and published the history of RAF Truleigh Hill, created a permanent display in the Marlipins Museum in Shoreham and made contact with 70 people who formerly served at the station.
"Some of these were based in Sussex before call-up and others, such as myself, remained in the area after demob.
"A reunion is planned for April 14 in Horsham. I will be pleased to supply information to anyone with Truleigh Hill connections who may be interested.
"I am sure there must be some in the area who I am unaware of. Two names that have been given to me are Dave Dacey and Sid Davis, both originally from Brighton.
