Legend has it that hair harbours mystical powers - poor Samson discovered this when he lost his locks and no wizard worth his abracadabra would be seen out with anything less than a full beard.
When David Bramwell inherited an encased moustache from his great aunt, he too would experience the powers that lurk behind facial follicles.
Little did he know uncovering the mystery behind the moustache would lead him to Brighton from an age-old cinema in the woods, via a travelling freak show, through Columbian hallucinogens and spiritual cults, to Salvador Dali's little-known dislike for cats.
Bramwell is one of life's great storytellers - spinning a yarn is exactly what he does best. Talking his way through some tall tales, it's hard to be sure what is fact or fiction, but with a brimful of belly laughs, it really doesn't matter.
