Lee Richardson has declared himself fit for Eastbourne Eagles' hectic week.

The Eagles skipper will ride at home to Poole on Monday after X-rays revealed he had cracked rather than broken a bone in his right wrist.

He also has ligament damage and a dislocated finger.

Eagles face away trips to Ipswich and Lakeside next week, plus a home clash with Ipswich on Saturday, May 17.

Richardson's participation was put in doubt after he withdrew from Wednesday's win at Belle Vue having suffered a reaction to the wrist and hand injury he first sustained crashing in Poland last week.

Poole have lost their former Eagles star Davey Watt for Monday's televised clash.

Watt has received a late call-up for the GP qualifier which has also ruled out Eastbourne's Edward Kennett.

Pirates will operate rider-replacement for Watt and have made two changes to their line-up, with Magnus Zetterstrom and Daniel Davidsson replacing the injured Karol Zabik and Zibi Suchecki.

The Dorset side joined the list of teams with away points to their name last night when they won at Peterborough.
