Southern England rail passengers, politicians and local authorities seem unaware of the outcry there has been from London rail passengers and their representatives about the threatened ending of the direct Brighton, Gatwick, West Brompton, Watford Junction Southern Trains Express service.
Boris Johnson, new Mayor of London, supports continuation of this direct service but there has not been a word from Passenger Focus or South Coast Planners for Transport.
