Eastbourne Borough Council's decision to charge people £6 during Airbourne to walk along the seafront is one of the most despicable acts of money grabbing I have seen (The Argus, May 7).
I am sure if local and national government could find a way to do so, they would tax the air we breathe. This is a free event. But it seems you can't have something in this day and age which is free for the public.
