With reference to Richard Gurner's article about the disappearance of the mirrored sculpture (The Argus, May 7), I have a few points to make.
For me "the Tardis" was just a bit of dumped waste by the side of the road. I love to see art but this was just a few mirrors joined together. I am surprised somebody wanted to pay £700 for what I see as rubbish. What room did they think it would look good in?
I am not surprised it was moved from its position as it was an eyesore. It could also have smashed and caused a hazard to animals.
Mr Lewis was right when he said: "I can't believe someone has stolen it."
Because I can't understand why someone has taken the time to nick it either.
Fly tipping is a problem in all parts of Britain and now it has been called art.
