I enjoyed visiting the Brighton Festival open houses in Kemp Town last weekend. The usual high standard of the artwork coupled with the warmth of the hospitality is a credit to the community it represents.
I should particularly like to congratulate Red Hen Artists for its Open Crypt exhibition - St George's Church Crypt café to be precise where Brighton's coastal heritage has been outstandingly celebrated in the art of Lou Partridge's painting, Jon Lodge's appliqué and Colin Bourner's photography. I recommend popping in on Sunday.
